Designed and built an Instagram clone web application with core features including user profiles, photo uploading, comments, and likes. Developed frontend using HTML/CSS/JS and backend using Python/Flask/SQL while implementing REST API, sessions, and deploying to AWS.

Search Engine
Crafted a scalable search engine using text analysis (tf-idf) and link analysis (PageRank) for accurate results. Developed a MapReduce pipeline for efficient indexing, along with an Index server for JSON-based search outputs. Designed a user-friendly Search server with a Google/Bing-style interface.

Parallel Processing Project
MapReduce
Implemented a MapReduce framework in Python to run distributed data processing jobs on a cluster. The framework consists of a Manager that receives MapReduce jobs, partitions the input data, and distributes map and reduce tasks to Workers. Workers execute the tasks and communicate with the Manager.
